Here are some blog posts shining a light on my everyday on going journey I call life.

About me..

The joy of writing is unique and has many facets relating to every single one of us.

Specifically, for me, what started as a fascination with the worlds created by the imagination of authors and playwrights, soon turned into an obsession, a form of losing oneself from the troubles and tribulations of everyday life. Writing for performance is a creative medium that can sometimes be undervalued. Talented writers have a way of putting the emotions and the barely comprehensible thoughts that we feel into beautifully crafted sentences. This then allows us a certain sense of self-awareness and understanding of the world, to slip through the cracks of the walls that we build around ourselves. From playwrights such as Anton Chekhov to Caryl Churchill, they have expanded their writing to show the unique ties that people have with each other, especially the family dynamic, so much so it feels like they are writing about our own family relationships. The word on paper has always been such a source of inspiration for me.

I have always been introverted, and in my younger years came across as shy. However, from the time I read ‘Top Girls’ by Caryl Churchill, it ignited my desire to be part of the story-telling process. Thereafter, I have pushed myself out of the comfortable embrace of the shadows and this has helped me gain confidence within myself and my creativity. This blog is a way for me to share
